Facing New York

Go Here

Let the thing load. On the right, you will see a kind of pencil drawing of a building. Click the various points on those. I like this effect. If we need to work on photos, this is something worth bearing in mind.

Concertina Arrangement

http://www.metadesign.com/

this is not a "wow" site in the conventional sense. However there are some points to note:
1. The concertina effect is a very simple arrangement. It manages to contain a large amount of "pages" and harbour interesting side navigtation.
2. These people have seriously big clients. Their work is to demonstrate the work they do. Not so much their own web site. So again the simple concertina effect achieves that. Its not in your face or anything.
3. The shades of grey and white and orange/red are very reminiscent of Adobe. Thats because they design for Adobe!

The importance of cubes

Go for the flash site ( obviously). Nothing hugely amazing. Except that i like the simplicity and how the site has managed to get away from the conventional. Its got humor which is important and then the simple cube after the swimming bit.  Modern colours too. I like it.

de-construct

A very unique solution there. Not so user friendly though (a bit too irrational) but tasty, stylish and as said – unique.

Flash templates

Here is a company - 5sec Interactive - which sells templates with flash files using external swf. Their whole business model is to sell reasonably attractive designs with flash animation ( very basic) controllable by the client. Get that b2b done Mr A.T.

Tokyoplastic vs 1

Another fabulous work by Tokyoplastic, similar to the previousy posted AIWA site - their own website.

Romanian company

That romanian company - neteffects - is also a joint venture with an american outfit.

SHAPES in the move

First impression may not be what you expect after reading this. Take the time to watch more than just once.

The shapes, text/colour transformations and of course the tunes from the legendary UK dnb performer - LTJ Bukem - are the most remarkable aspects of these moves.
